Finance for change

Does anyone here have experience in making saving the world profitable? I have caught a glimpse of the Internet’s potential. This week I became aware of something called The Hub. It offers workspace for small/starting/social businesses.

The issue of financing the work of the collective keeps coming up. It should, as I will be running out of money in a few months.

We are making great progress on our plans to make the Internet more useful and accessible where it concerns information networks. Quite a few people are building the first Internet applications for it. All fantastic, but we want to go faster. Only having spare time available for most of us means we are not making half the progress we could.

This week I became aware of something called The Hub. It offers workspace for small/starting/social businesses.

Apparently people have managed to turn a good idea for the future into income. The Nag is a good example.

This cross-collaboration between different disciplines illustrates beautifully the changes that are already happening in our economy and which we want to be a part of. So we have a third mission now.

We think our Internet projects could generate some money and in time become quite valuable so we want to investigate how to use this to our advantage. Examples like the Hub make me hopeful.

Does anyone here have experience in making saving the world profitable? I am looking forward to more input!
