At home with an accidentally-eco Spanish grandma

On the list of carbon emissions per capita, Spain comes in at #51, far below the US, Canada, Norway and Australia (at 10, 11, 12 & 13, respectively). While it’s been getting recognition as a world leader in solar and wind power, the country’s eco-friendly customs don’t get the same attention.

Here at faircompanies we are lucky to have Spanish grandparents who have maintained some of those “green” traditions. We have been taking our camera to Sunday lunch for over a year now to give you a glimpse into life with “iaia” and “iaiu” (Catalan nicknames for grandma & grandpa; pronounced “yaya” and “yayu”).
