Stripping diapers with salt, baking soda and vinegar

If you’re using cloth diapers, and you don’t use a service, you need a wash routine. As opposed to regular laundry, diapers can develop buildup: often times simply too much detergent that collects in the diaper and then reacts when your baby pees.

This happened to us with the faircompanies baby. We had heard you can strip your diapers by doing enough hot washes- no detergent- until the bubbles go away, but there’s been a drought here in Barcelona and that sounded like a lot of water.

In this video, faircompanies’ Kirsten Dirksen attempts to wash diapers without detergent, but with salt, baking soda and vinegar.
