Suchin’s low carbon diet: composting in a bag

faircompanies collaborator SuChin Pak helps with our compost bag experiment, saving 2 pounds of CO2 emissions (the carbon footprint of a bag of garbage). Bag composting may not be as trendy as vermicomposting, but there’s no need to buy the worms; it’s as simple as a bag with holes.

Note: compost done correctly shouldn’t smell badly.  Warning: our compost was not done correctly.

We also have a video on composting in an apartment, a high rent vermicomposter and with SuChin changing a flushable diaper.
