The trend for carfree communities may have gone worldwide, whether in Vauban, Germany or Atlanta, Georgia, but it's still just an option for the lucky few.  It's possible to find carfree neighborhoods in some cities- especially in Europe-, but there are many more options if you choose to get creative.

In this video, I take a walk through my mostly carfree neighborhood in Barcelona and a trip to the places in my childhood where cars didn't reign supreme (and yes, I grew up in the suburbs).
