The US appearing at the bottom of the WWF’s Climate Scorecard (ranking climate change performance for G8 countries) isn’t news, but Canada’s position there- given their Kyoto-signing reputation- is a bit more surprising.
When measuring change in climate change performance, Canada also ranks below their southern neighbor and way below Europe: the CO2 emissions for the EU-15 rose just 3% between 1993 and 2003, for the US, 13.7% and for Canada, 27%.
