Like their eco-friendly fabrics, clothing company Patagonia tries to push the limits of sustainability on campus. They’ve built a power plant in their parking lot: three hundred and sixty 185-watt solar panels that produce enough energy to power 60 homes (or 12% of the company’s needs). They’ve also installed permeable pavement, lend out bikes for free to employees and grow food all over campus.
In this video, Patagonia’s Megan Marble shows us their solar carports, green parking spots, company bikes and corporate figs and strawberries.
