Patagonia has been an eco-aware company since its foundation. They were the first to print their catalogues on recycled paper (1984), and the first to create jackets made from materials using recycled plastic bottles, in 1993. They started using organic cotton over a decade ago and more recently, they have established an undergarment recycling program.
For this video, we talked to the company’s Tim Rhone about re-using fabrics, Nike and organics and the power of hemp.
We also have a video inside Patagonia’s fabric lab and at their sustainable headquarters.
